Meet the Cansaf team!

ROBIN BROWN
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Robin is the Managing Director of Cansaf and co-founded the company in 1998. He is a Zimbabwean with over 25 years’ experience in the tourism industry, originally beginning his tourism career in guiding Robin spent time Canoeing and Rafting the Zambezi River as well as conducting walking safaris around the country. Robin has invaluable knowledge of the Zambesia region, he oversees the creation and running of exceptional programmes and the daily logistics of the company.

JOANNE BROWN
FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

Jo is the Financial Director of Cansaf and co-founded the company in 1998. She manages the company’s financial head offices in South Africa and in the Zambesia region. Jo has played a key part in guiding the company and handling the growth over the years.

KYLIE GATES
SALES MANAGER

Kylie is the Sales Manager and joined Cansaf in 1998. She oversees the daily sales operation and the ground handling of groups travelling through region. She is extremely knowledgeable about the unique products in the region and excels in creating high value itineraries.

AMANDA TAPFUMANEYI
SALES CONSULTANT

Amanda joined Cansaf in 2014. She is vital member of the Sales Team, renowned for her attention to detail in designing custom programmes for clients. Her behind-the-scenes work and adaptability ensures the smooth running of large groups travelling through the region.

MUNYARADZI MUNIKWA
TOUR LEADER

Munya joined the team as a tour director in 2012. After graduating with a BA in French and Portuguese at the University of Zimbabwe, he initially taught French for 5 years at High School level. In 2007 he entered the tourism industry guiding French-speaking leisure and incentive tour groups in the region. He coordinates MICE groups and guides leisure and incentive tour groups travelling through the region.

GAIL WEBSTER
TOUR LEADER

Gail first joined Cansaf as a Tour Director in 2014. She has been in the tourism industry since 1994 and has years of experience in various sectors of tourism. She has managed boutique lodges and restaurants in the region most recently overseeing the Lookout Café until 2018 in Victoria Falls. She coordinates MICE groups and guides leisure and incentive tour groups travelling through the region.

JESSICA BOSWALL
SALES CONSULTANT

Jess joined Cansaf in 2015. She is a valuable member of the Sales Team. Having spent a year overseas in 2017 she returned to Africa in 2018 with a wealth of travel knowledge and a good understanding for this international market. She is enthusiastic about creating programmes with fresh insights and perspectives.

TAKUNDA FURUSA
SALES CONSULTANT

TK joined Cansaf in 2019. After graduating with an LLB Law at the University of Pretoria, He has since followed a career in tourism and is an integral member of the Sales Team. Having been brought up in Victoria Falls, he has first hand knowledge of the region and is passionate about creating authentic itineraries.
