Tribal legend relates many tales about Ndlovu, the largest and best loved of Africa's mammals. Respected for its loyalty and intelligence, the Ndlovu (Elephant) gives inner strength and wisdom and courage to those perceptive enough to understand him.
Which team will decipher the hidden clues, gather the essential information and have the perception to understand the true meaning of the ancient tale?
Each team is allocated a bag containing initial instructions, some references or photographs, associated maps and equipment and an envelope containing various challenges, designed to bring out their true nature and to test their range of skills.
These tasks will be combined with other optional exercises, which, if completed successfully, increase your score of points for the programme. Results will be based on tasks completed within the fixed time period for the programme.
The programme* may include presentations from some leading authorities on some of the following aspects:
. Elephants and their habits:
. Africa's Great Predators:
. Reptiles and their habits.
. David Livingstone.
* The inclusion of one of these presentations will increase the overall costs.
