Night Sky Presentation

There is no better place than out in the remote darkness of the African bush to really appreciate the mysteries of the sky and to hear the stories of their relationships to times gone by.



Our night sky presenter relates traditional African folklore to the passage of the stars and planets in a fascinating presentation. The evening starts with an introduction into the Night Sky Presentation, its History following onto African Folklore and its relationship with the night skies of Southern Africa.

The presenter will then do a little Star Orientation and point out famous Constellations. This will be followed by the African interpretation of these Constellations and various Folklore Tales relating to them, finally ending off with time for questions and theories allowing for specific client interests eg Moon Phases or Planetary Movement etc.
