River Float, Thorntree Lunch & Elephant Interaction

After a short introduction and safety briefing at the put-in point upriver, each stern-mount inflatable raft, accommodating 6 to 8 pax will float down one of the most spectacular waterways in Africa . The River spreads out amongst the many channels and islands, offering amazing scenery and wildlife opportunities before you take out at Thorntree Elephant Boma.



A 3-course lunch will be set up under the shady lawns on the banks of the River. If there is a chance of rain, lunch will be served in the thatched Boma. The resident Elephant will walk past and stop nearby, offering the chance for each person to interact with one of these amazing creatures. An early afternoon road transfer will take the group back to the hotel.
