Victoria Falls From the Steam Train, on Victoria Falls Bridge

A view of the Falls, through a steam train window...
One of our most popular group products is the Steam Train Sundowner, in which delegates board a steam train on either side of the border. The red carpet treatment takes place either at Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe, or in the middle of the bush on the Zambian side. Once everyone is ready, refreshing drinks and eats are served while the train gently meanders its way to the Victoria Falls Bridge.
On reaching this feat of engineering conceived by Cecil John Rhodes (and finished in 1905 without him seeing it) the train stops and delegates may disembark with their drinks in hand to view the sunset and take photographs, before heading back - usually to a bush or gala dinner.
In certain conditions the spray of the giant waterfall falls on the bridge and its passengers - exactly what Rhodes had in mind!
