The Zambesia region offers several world-renowned golf courses including the Elephant Hills golf course, Victoria Falls and the Mowana Golf Course, Botswana. Elephant Hills Hotel is world famous for it’s 18-hole Championship golf course which was first opened for play at Victoria Falls in 1974, designed by International circuit star Gary Player. There is a natural game path established between the course’s perimeter fence and the River to allow game access to natural water. Mowana Golf Course is part of the Cresta Mowana Lodge complex and offers a well maintained nine-hole golf course with plenty of water. At both golf courses it is not uncommon to see Warthogs, Waterbuck, Impala, Baboons and Elephant whilst having a game of golf.
